WHAT DOES JOE’S K-9 CARE DO?
JOE’S K-9 CARE comes to your house either once or twice a week to clean up what your dog leaves behind. We pick up your dog waste and remove it in bags and bins.
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE WASTE AFTER YOU
PICK IT UP?
We collect pet waste it in a bag, place it in a bin and haul
it away for you as part of your regular charge.
ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN CHARGES?
No – all charges are set forth on the service and pricing page of our website.
There are standard charges based upon your number of dogs and the frequency
of service you sign up for (either once or twice a week).
DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN
YOU COME TO WORK?
No – in fact many of our customers hire us because they work all day and are
generally not there when we come. We can service your yard whether
you are home or not, so long as we have access.
If you want to meet personally before we start servicing your yard and are
not generally available on weekdays, we can make arrangements to meet
over a weekend or some evening.
HOW WILL YOU GET ACCESS TO MY YARD
IF I AM NOT THERE?
There are a variety of ways we can address this issue. Some homes have a
gate that is never locked and we can access your yard this way. Other homes
have a gate that is locked and either provide us with a key or provide us
with information about where a key that we can use is kept.
CAN YOU SERVICE MY YARD EVEN WHEN MY
DOG(S) ARE OUTSIDE?
Yes, assuming your dog or dogs will not create a danger to us we can work with
them in the yard. We are perfectly comfortable to work in a yard when dogs are
there and understand that many dogs will greet us enthusiastically and even jump on
us when we first arrive. However, we do request that if you have a dog that you know might cause a problem, you not only inform us of this fact but also take
measures to make sure the pet does not have access to
the yard when we are there.
DO YOU GIVE MY DOG(S) TREATS WHEN
YOU ARE THERE?
We do carry good quality, healthy and nutritious treats that we give you dog(s) when we are there. (We like to try to make friends.) Please let us know if you do not
wish for us to give your dog(s) anything and we will make sure they do not
get any treats from us while we are there.
DO YOU WORK WHEN THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Given that we live in Las Vegas, the weather is rarely an issue. If on the rare occasion
it is raining hard (or heaven forbid snowing!), we may suspend service for a day.
If that does occur, we will make every attempt to get your missed service done
the following day or as soon thereafter as possible.
DO YOU WORK ON HOLIDAYS?
Generally, we will service your yard if your regular service day falls on a holiday
(unless you ask us to skip a particular holiday).
In the event we are unable to provide service on a particular holiday,we
will make every attempt to get your missed service done the following day or
as soon thereafter as possible.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT TO START SERVICE?
We do not use contracts. We do have a service agreement that you must
complete to commence service which is found on this website. It allows you to
provide us with information such as your number of pets, the frequency of
service you want, information about your pets, and information about how
we can access your yard.
HOW WILL I BE BILLED AND HOW FREQUENTLY
DO I HAVE TO PAY?
While service is performed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, you will only be billed monthly and your bill is only due after service is completed.
We will send you an invoice in the middle of the month for which we are currently providing service. Your payment for that month will be due on or before the end of
the month. If we have not received payment by the end of the month, your continued service may be interrupted until payment is received. If you sign up and start service
in the middle of a month, your monthly charge will be prorated to reflect only the
service you received in the initial month; after that all invoices will
reflect the appropriate charge for the entire month.
HOW DO I START SERVICE?
As noted above, you need to complete a Service Agreement,
found on this website. Once we have your Service Agreement,
service can start immediately.
